"The medicine of poverty" is an editorial initiative dedicated to the poor, the vulnerable, the least, the marginalized.

In his journey, the author describes the various worlds of poverty: from the streets of Rome to the mud villages in Afghanistan, through the relief efforts in the Mediterranean Sea and respectively the difficulties that can be found in providingvoluntarily help.

Next to us, near or far, there are men, women or worse, children who suffer for various reasons, from war to hunger, from poverty to illness, from disability to loneliness and it is possible to bring them comfort not only with health care that can be performed by doctors or nurses, but also through simple actions that anyone can do.

This book offers to enlighten and shake consciences, trying to excite, to involve and to leave a little hope in believing that it is possible to improve things by rolling up one's sleeves.
